Loves of my Life!

My blog chronicles my life and adventures through fabulous food, health and wellness. On this journey, you will see many mentions of the people important to me! To give you a little background, I only found it necessary to share a little tid bit about each!

Matt

Matt is my boyfriend and he is the one who definitely keeps me sane on most days! He works in banking, loves food and is extremely motivated (the #1 reason why I was attracted to him in the first place ). We love to try out new restaurants and he consistently makes fun of all the random things I eat, which you will soon witness.

Mel

Mel and I “met” while in school at the University of South Carolina. We were in the same sorority and throughout our four years of school we became closer. It wasn’t until I mentioned Mel to my mom that I found out we had been “besties” in elementary school! We were both at Our Lady of Assumption and had gone through our First Communion together. Mel and I had gone through college and had never even put the pieces together! Back then, you could find us wearing hideous pink headbands (that may have just been me) and probably chatting about our huge crush, Tommy Fisher, but today we take to happy hour, dancing and yoga! Mel is one of those people I can always lean on and I am thrilled to be in Charlotte only minutes away.

Maggie and Grace

Maggie and Grace are sisters! Mags is my roommate and I absolutely love her! I seriously could not have gotten through all the hecticness and craziness of this past year without her! She is passionate about design, art and healthy food (of course!)… this must be why we get along so well! The one thing Maggie can never pass up is Cupcakes so don’t be surprised if almost every post regarding cupcakes ties her in. Grace is Maggie’s sister and she is around all time! Grace is the most hysterical, outspoken person I know which is exactly why I love her! She will say just about anything and when your around her you’ll definitely get an ab workout from laughing so much.

Katie

I met Miss Katie at my first job out of college and we became best friends immediately! She definitely made me feel more comfortable at my new workplace and we’ve been attached at the hip ever since! She has a passion for cooking, art and is absolutely head over heels with anything that is French, so if you have any suggestions…please send them over! Katie is known for her monthly huge dinners and girl she goes all out!! I look forward to this night every month!
